Crafting Utilities are cheap, consumable items used during the crafting process; they include things like curing agents for leather and cleaners. Each recipe has one (or more?) utilities identified as necessary to complete the recipe; additional utilities may be needed to counter complications.
The following table lists the various utilities, which crafting professions use them in recipes (Rec), and which ones are used to handle complications (Com).
- Certain utilities are not used until later crafting levels. These are italicized in the table below.

There are variants of many of these utilities. The variants work in the same manner as the original, so far as anyone can tell. Examples of these variants include Bone Water, Thin Oil, and Alkaline Fuel.
